Join Marlinks and shape the future of renewable energy

At Marlinks, we use fiber optic technology to monitor subsea power cables, a backbone of the offshore wind industry. With Distributed Temperature Sensing (DTS) and Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS), optical fibers inside cables act as thousands of sensors, offering new ways to understand what happens around these critical asset.

As Strategy Intern, you’ll work with our Marketing team to sharpen Marlinks’ global strategy. Your work will help us understand markets better and make smarter choices as we grow. Along the way, you’ll gain a behind-the-scenes look at how a scale-up builds its global strategy, plus experience in the fast-growing offshore wind industry.

What you will do: 

    • Market research on floating offshore wind and dynamic cable monitoring.
    • Analyze competitors and benchmark positioning strategies.
    • Define customer personas and pain points.
    • Develop and test value propositions and messaging frameworks.
    • Support the creation of marketing materials and go-to-market strategies.
    • Collaborate on digital campaigns and content creation.
    • Analyze campaign performance (LinkedIn Ads, SEA, …) and report on results.
    • Present findings and strategic recommendations to the team.

What we are looking for

    • Studying Marketing, Business, or a related field.
    • Analytical and curious, with a structured way of thinking.
    • Comfortable working in English.
    • Interest in signal processing, integral transforms, or renewable energy
    • Most importantly: curiosity, enthusiasm, and a willingness to learn
