Your Role
As a Project Engineer, you will:
- Be the primary point of contact for clients, managing projects with a focus on interface management
- Oversee project schedules and documentation, including onshore and offshore installations, by:
- Procuring hardware and performing quality control (e.g., Factory/Site Acceptance Tests)
- Assembling and testing new integrations for components and software releases
- Installing and commissioning hardware both in Belgium and internationally
- Lead deployment of Marlinks applications, including:
- Setting up and configuring measurement equipment
- Preparing and configuring application software
- Optionally modeling and testing algorithms
- Collaborate closely with the development team to feed back customer needs
- Continuously optimize internal project execution processes
- Communicate with the sales team to share client feedback and offer technical input
We are looking for someone who:
- Holds a Graduate degree (Bachelors or Masters) in Industrial Sciences, Electronics and ICT, Informatics, or has equivalent experience
- Ideally has experience in electrical, optical, and/or IT network installations
- Is proactive, hands-on, and a natural problem solver
- Thrives on optimizing processes and driving improvement
- Has excellent organizational, negotiation, and communication skills
- Optionally possesses programming experience (Python is a plus but not mandatory)
- Is experienced with IT network infrastructure
- Is available to travel and comfortable working at height
- Is fluent in Dutch and English; additional languages are a bonus
- Holds a valid driver’s license
