Marlinks wins Blue Innovation Award for CPS monitoring.
Marlinks is extremely proud to have won the Blue Innovation Wave award for Cable Protecion System (CPS) monitoring in 2022. The award ceremony of the Blue Innovation Awards took place at the Port House in Antwerp, Belgium. This innovation aims to closely monitor various Cable Protection Systems (CPS) and submarine power cables in offshore wind farms. It achieves this by measuring acoustic vibrations along the subsea cables through Distributed Acoustic Sensing (DAS).
What are the Blue Innovation Awards?
The Blue Innovation Awards, initiated by The Blue Cluster, highlights innovative projects, products, and services in the blue economy. Entries were assessed based on five criteria: innovative character, connection with economic activities in, on, and by the sea, market potential, international ambitions, and alignment with the United Nations’ sustainable development goals.
